Phobia
08/22/2007
Some phobias originate or become more intense when entering into menopause. One of my phobias is escalators, I don’t like them at all, and would always search for stairs. Then a phobia for driving long distances such as 45 minutes on the highway began to annoy me.
These small annoyances can be relieved by practicing your mindsetness to correct these phobia’s.
So, with a proper mindset, you hold the railings and the arm of a friend, or relative and you tackle escalators or what ever your phobia is!!! You then tackle your new phobia of highway driving with baby steps. Maybe just go ten miles on the highway today and twenty next week for practice drives or actually head to a shopping mall and treat yourself to a new outfit for your accomplishment.
Relax and decide on the steps you need to start your day. You will want to relax and de-stress as best you can so you can fit into your normal every day life and get the things done you want to get done.
Perhaps a little vacation from everyday life would help you relax. Maybe cooking from a new free cookbook would help you relax. Relax by planting a new garden
or designing a landscaping area. Candles
while I read in the tub always is very relaxing. You really want to relax now to go on with your life and not worry about your phobias.
