Have you noticed your hands or feet stiffening up?

Have you twisted your ankle but then forgotten about it, such as tripping over something at home and just being on with your day?
Then, out of nowhere the next afternoon, you feel intense pain in the area? You are still walking and driving, but wondering why this is flaring up?

Well, I guess, try and stay in shape using a home gym. This training may eliminate some bones breaking during our fragile menopause stage.

Now is the time to become exercise conscious if you have been getting by without exercise.

I’ve discovered that elevating your foot or feet with two of these pillowswhile watching t.v. or reading and in during the night sleep is very useful and with dedication you can feel like new again.

Together with Advil and a 15 minute to 60 minute soak in 4 cups of warm water and 1/4 cup of Epson salt your foot/feet may feel very good.

I apply a cold pack for 15 minutes and then remove it for 15 minutes then apply it again. (Place ice in a pillow case or wrapped in a kitchen towel for comfort.)

While the ice is on my foot, I take one advil which is 200 mg. Soak your feet when eating supper, and do the ice while watching t.v. You can spread out this care during your evening. Easy to care for yourself treatment like this can really help you sleep and go on with your day. You know we put a lot of stress on our feet, now that we are entering menopause or in it, I bet our feet need some pampering like the rest of our body does.

My hands get stiff also, and just wiggling my fingers helps me so much. I’ve tried wiggling my toes too for extra circulation. I apply ice to my shoulder and take advil also when I get real achy.

Always visit your doctor for advice if symptoms persist for more than a few days.
