Low or High Arches – Causing Pain?
02/08/2008
I know I have been complaining about my achy feet for many many months.
A few months ago I went to webmd.com for some advice and exercises. There is a page that you can print out all about exercising your achy feet. I printed it out and discovered I may have low arches, due to weight gain.
There are some exercises you can do even before your feet hit the floor getting out of bed in the morning.
One exercise I do very deliberately now is to wiggle my toes on each foot and move my arches up and down about 5 times each before my feet hit the floor in the morning.
Another pro-active thing I did was to try on some new sneakers at the store that were suppose to be padded and have arch support. I found some men’s sneakers that felt great. They had the check mark on them, so they are an “air” brand. For some reason, my feet seem to feel less squished in men’s sneakers.
After this I purchased Isoarch Foot Supports” for these sneakers, then I purchased some heel pads
for another pair of shoes.
This was done several months ago as a trial period, and I have been relieved of foot discomfort because of these additions.
Replacement slipper for more than 30 minutes of use, is a leather very well arched slip on sneaker I found that is “Puma” brand. This is a woman’s shoe.
All these remedies are helping me big time, I hope they will help you also.
