Feeling wobbly – Start a hobby
07/09/2008
Hi, that wobbly feeling may happen with out notice, but if you keep a journal it may not be happening every day, but only once a month, like a menstrual cycle.
Free reading I’ve found that helps and talks about losing weight is at www.freebookex.com
Concentration issues can be helped, honestly with reading more. Down load some books from this great sight, the free book exchange or head to your local library. I bet you can even order books on line if you want to.
Your local library will have magazines with book titles that they will have available soon, make a note and order them.
Find a hobby and stop feeling wobbly, it will engage your mind to think about your hobby. Some suggestions will be: a girls night out every monday for Scrapbooking. You may not get a lot of scrapbooking done, but the conversation with the girls will be fun, right? And I bet you will get some scrapbooking done, and then the expense won’t be one big purchase.
How about a crafts night on Wednesday with the girls? Or start a hiking club.
One such club I found that is really great and can include your town is www.meetup.com This great tool is national and will set up like a knitting circle or hiking club in your area, it’s kind of like a social network. It’s free and you don’t have to disclose your whole life story. They ask for your email address and your photo and a name. It’s not mandatory that you give your name or photo, but you join the groups they have.
If your husband doesn’t like to hike and you love the fresh air, why not give it a go. Ask a friend to go with you till you see what is like. The same with bike riding or swimming, knitting, out to eats, movies.
To volunteer and help someone is very nice too, this will keep your mind happy. Check out volunteer organizations in your newspaper or call your church or senior citizens place and see what you can do.
Some nursing homes like volunteers too. Or maybe look in your neighbor hood for a shut in to visit once a week. Have fun!
Okay, gotta go
