www.jobsinthemoney.com now have you thought about leaving your job of 25 years for another job?

You could go into finance or teaching or landscaping. The above link will tell you what these types of jobs have to offer.

Lots of older people become self employed too. Bin there, done that, and are retired after being in the same job for 25 years, so why not become self employed. Anything you know about on line, someone else may not know how to do, so you could start by starting that type of a company. Or your can go on line and find some community and 4 year colleges and see what degrees they offer.

If you want to get a job in the next 3 years, probably try a community college, as most degrees and pre-req’s are about the 3 year time frame, as in one for the pre-req’s and 1 or 2 for the certificate or degree.

Before you rush into massage therapy or medical billing make sure there are national board testing centers through the college you choose or you may be out of luck for landing that really great job.

Sometimes some schools don’t teach everything you need to get certified. Some careers are needed now but not in 5 years.

Dental Hygienist and Dental Assistant seem to be growing, so do your homework, not at the school that offers the degrees, they may be one sided but out in the newspapers where you see the jobs advertised.

It can be done, dream big!

Most of all exercise your body and mind. Go for a jog and walk for 1 mile a day at least. You need the fresh air and exercise. Keep going for 20 minutes a day at a minimum. You will feel great! Reading helps you stay focused. Do it for 5 minutes at bedtime if that is all the time you have, but do it. I have heard piano lessons helps with concentration also for us menopausers. It’s fun too.
