Yes, it’s true, you will probably gain weight in menopause, or it has been creeping up there.
Keep a journal of breakfast, lunch, supper, snack and exercise for six months. If you write down what
you eat then you are more apt to not eat as much.
Join a fun weight loss group that doesn’t take your whole day or all your money. Look up this on when you can www.tops.org others are www.weightwatchers.com and
www.jennycraig.com that I have also heard good things about. But it all comes down to will power and exercising. If you want to know you are not alone, go to one of these meetings. Lots of times the first meeting will be free.
You are not alone, and you need will power, you probably need to walk or jog and do arm weights. You are not alone, so get started today, why wait? You will definately feel a lot better!
Foods to stay away from include but not limited to are: carrot cake, potato chips, ice cream, just to name a few. You CAN do it, and you are not alone!
Walk as soon as you get up in the morning after you brush your teeth. Grab a water bottle and an umbrella. Do a 15 to 30 minute brisk walk, now start your day. Continue at lunch or after supper, or not, you have done something positive. Now, drink water or munch a carrot if hungry. Jot a favorite recipe out, just manage to not eat any high calorie or high fat food for 15 min. when you get a craving, and you will have started on the right foot.
If you mess up, start again, just try and stay on the right track. You are not alone!! Smile and have a great day!
