My mum is definitely going through menopause and this video helped me realize. She has installed security cameras throughout the house and feels like people are out to get her when they really are not. She also is extremely irritable at times. poor mum
the more days passed the more workout she did. till one day, after realizing her belly was getting bigger, she FINALLY decided to see the doctor. and the doctor said, “it’s not menopause. it’s a baby. congratulations” …so well…she was not into menopause, she was pregnant of me
miracles do exist …;) never loose hope, women!
My mother sometimes calls me “HER-MENOPAUSE”. it all started when she was like 41, 42 years old. a month passed when she felt sure enough to say “ok, this is it. this is my menopause”. anyways, she started feeling weird, kind of depressed and with low self steem. she even started to see herself fat so she decided to go to the gym.
I also remember my dad and a period in his life when it seemed like his was going through the male menopause and he became so sad depressed like and upset thinking as his children were getting married his life is over and he became very paranoid all of a sudden we ended up having security cameras been installed in the house first came 1 then 2 then 3 and then security lights it was like a prison nothing came in or out without been noticed. for years this went until finally he stopped, kind of!!!
that period of our lives was hell mam would burst out crying or into screams for no reason at any moment and be fine the next. The insulting names she called us was so horrible and she did notice but would come crying saying how sorry she was and then later lash out again. but when she had her womb removed she became this new woman I mean a new complete lease of life she was so happy smiling all the time nothing seemed to effect her anymore she just was calm and her life became so much better.
I remember this period of my mams life before she got a hysterectomy due to to becoming ill and for months on end she was menstruating lossing so much blood draining her and her doctor telling her just to keep taking iron tablets she’ll be ok until she ended up in hospital seriously ill. but before all of this and during when she was going through the those few months of menopause my family and I called it the worst few months of our lives.
I dont know if this was menopause but when i was little i was annoying my mother and i could see that she wasnt very happy in life but back then i didnt understand and i annoyed her so much she threw me out of the way and i went crashing into the door behind me which was partly made of glass and i went straight through it and broke the whole pannel of glass .I was lucky it could have killed me,not funny i know but thats all i could think of.
Well mom suddenly changes to a complete different person! one day she will be the normal mom I joke around with as you do with friends. But then suddenly, out of nowhere, she will start telling me and my brother off about anything! Even tho my little brother would be studying, she would tell him he is not studying enough – The funny thing is, if we are in a middle of being blasted by mom, and she gets a phone call from one of her friends… she transforms back into the gentle mom and happy mom!
Great story. I could just see you as a kid tip-toeing around the house. Well as for me I don’t have a story on menopause yet. Hopefully I never will. I understand some people never have symptoms. And some of different cultures never experience it. Some say it is based on their diets.
