Okay, the gym was a very very good experience!  I met some friendly people on the last day.

Overall, jumping in my car at 7:30 a.m. to go to the gym for an hour or more in the freezing cold, was an eye opener to me for sure!  I did it, and now I am happy to have this kind of structure  and exercise in my life.

Before I left today, I chatted with some people who had memberships from 5 and 6 years ago.  They told me that I needed to do repetitions of 12 things and rest a minute, then 12, rest, then 12.  I didn’t know that I said.  They said back 5 or 6 years ago, free trainers helped you till you got settled.

My only comment to this blog about this GYM, is if they have a lead, like me, on a free membership, then why don’t they enhance my knowledge with the machinery and teach me how to use it more thoroughly.  That way I won’t want to leave.

But, that didn’t happen, and so I will make do at home with my exercise tapes, my treadmill, my leg and arm extensions.  On my wish list I must put in for a hip abductor.

Keep moving and doing weights.  It really boosts  your energy, self esteem and helps your muscles and bones, take it from a person who never ever went to a gym before, and now wants to fit exercise into her lifestyle for good!
